A tragic accident occurred in Molo area on Sunday morning involving a matatu and a trailer, resulting in one fatality and five injuries.
The matatu, belonging to Sifa Line Company, attempted to overtake the trailer before colliding with its rear, prompting traffic police intervention and ongoing medical treatment for the injured.
The incident occurred as both vehicles were traveling towards Eldoret direction.

According to the truck driver's account, the matatu, owned by Sifa Line Company, attempted to overtake the trailer near Jolly Farm in Molo before colliding with its rear.
Upon receiving reports of the accident, traffic police officers promptly arrived at the scene and arranged for the vehicles to be towed to Molo police station for further investigation.
Sadly, the body of a 24-year-old woman, presumably a passenger in the matatu, was transferred to the morgue at Molo sub-county hospital. Meanwhile, the injured individuals are currently undergoing treatment.
