One Dead, 5 Injured As Matatu Rams Into Truck In Molo

Tragedy struck on Sunday morning in Molo area as one person lost their life and five others sustained injuries following a collision between a matatu and a trailer. 

The incident occurred as both vehicles were traveling towards Eldoret direction.

According to the truck driver's account, the matatu, owned by Sifa Line Company, attempted to overtake the trailer near Jolly Farm in Molo before colliding with its rear.

Upon receiving reports of the accident, traffic police officers promptly arrived at the scene and arranged for the vehicles to be towed to Molo police station for further investigation. 

Sadly, the body of a 24-year-old woman, presumably a passenger in the matatu, was transferred to the morgue at Molo sub-county hospital. Meanwhile, the injured individuals are currently undergoing treatment.
