The harrowing ordeal unfolded when Ssekanjako left home with his three-year-old son under the pretext of buying a soft drink, but tragically, they never returned.

The situation escalated from domestic strife when Ssekanjako's wife, Nakintu Florence, discovered that he had stolen their TV, smartphone, and cash from their home. 

This discovery led to a heated confrontation between the couple, ultimately resulting in Nakintu seeking refuge with a friend at the Temangalo trading centre, taking her young son with her for safety.

Despite Nakintu's efforts to distance herself from the volatile situation, Ssekanjako managed to track them down and pleaded with Nakintu to return home. 

Under the guise of a simple errand to buy a soft drink, Ssekanjako convinced the young boy to accompany him to a nearby shop. However, they never returned, leaving Nakintu in a state of distress.

Subsequent efforts to locate the missing child proved tragic when his lifeless body was discovered in a room adjacent to their home, sending shockwaves through the community. 

Police investigations into the incident reveal that the altercation between Ssekanjako and Nakintu, sparked by the theft of valuables, ultimately led to their breakup and the devastating loss of their child.
