According to sources, Langat's absence from his partner's side last night prompted concern. His girlfriend, known as Sharon, was the first to discover the tragic scene.
An unverified Facebook post attributed to Langat indicates personal struggles in his love life and a decision to end his own life.

In the post, he expressed gratitude to his family for their support and reminisced about fond memories with his students.
Authorities from Silibwet police station responded to the incident, moving the body to Longisa Hospital mortuary for further investigation.
