Woman Dies In An Accident Along The Kericho-Nakuru Highway

Tragedy struck along the Kericho-Nakuru highway as one person lost their life in a road accident, while two others sustained injuries. 

According to Agnes Kunga, the Sub County police commander in Londiani, the incident occurred when the driver of the saloon car they were traveling in lost control of the vehicle at the Jubat area.

Authorities reported that the accident, believed to have been triggered by a tyre burst, led to the vehicle veering off the road and rolling multiple times.

Sadly, a female passenger succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.

Both the driver and another female occupant suffered serious injuries and were promptly transported to Londiani Sub County Hospital for urgent medical attention. 

Meanwhile, the deceased's body was transported to the hospital's mortuary, pending a post-mortem examination.

In response to the tragic incident, law enforcement officials issued an appeal to motorists, urging them to exercise caution to prevent similar accidents in the area.

The wreckage of the vehicle involved in the accident was subsequently towed to Londiani police station for further investigation.
