Following the tragic road accident in the Maungu area that resulted in the loss of 11 lives and multiple casualties, Kenyatta University has issued an appeal for financial assistance from well-wishers. 

The university is seeking support to cover the medical bills and funeral expenses of the victims affected by the devastating incident. Contributions can be directed to the university's designated bank account.

The fatal accident occurred along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway in Voi, where a collision between the college bus and a truck claimed the lives of 11 students and left 21 others injured. 

The students were on their way to Mombasa for an academic trip when the tragic incident unfolded.

In response to the heartbreaking loss, Kenyatta University plans to hold a memorial service on Sunday to honor and celebrate the lives of the students who tragically perished in the accident.
