The life sentence was justified by Magistrate Koranje due to the accused's unchanged behavior despite a previous conviction, aiming to protect society from further harm.

The accused committed this reprehensible act over more than four years in Nyacha village within Kwale County.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) stated, "The accused committed the offences on diverse dates between January 2019 and 26th March 2023 at Nyacha village, Taru location within Kwale County."
Charged with violating Section 11(A) of the Sexual Offences Act No. 3 and Section 20(1) of the Sexual Offences Act No. 3 of 2006, the 45-year-old man faced the damning evidence presented during the trial.
Among the five witnesses, the defiled minor testified, and the court, under the guidance of Counsel Annette Wanjohi, concluded that the prosecution had proven the case 'beyond reasonable doubt.'
It came to light during the proceedings that the accused had a prior conviction in 2010 for acts of sodomy against his wife, serving a five-year jail term until 2015.
Despite the defendant's claim that his wife framed him, Senior Resident Magistrate Olivia Koranje dismissed it as 'baseless.'
Magistrate Koranje justified the life-long sentence by emphasizing that the accused's behavior showed no signs of reform, citing his unchanged conduct even after a previous conviction.
The decision was based on the necessity to safeguard society from the offender's persistently disturbing actions.
