On Sunday, a 28-year-old woman met a tragic end, reportedly by jumping off the balcony of her third-floor apartment in Nairobi's Lang'ata area.
According to the caretaker of Ascort Apartments, where she resided alone, the incident occurred a few minutes before 6 am, and the sound of her fall alerted neighbors.
Upon investigation, police discovered the woman's lifeless body at the back of the apartment block. The authorities are treating the case as a suspected suicide.

A report from the Lang'ata police station stated, “The body, which had no physical injury but blood oozing from the nose, has been moved to the city mortuary awaiting post-mortem and further police action’’.
The circumstances surrounding the alleged suicide remain under investigation, with authorities awaiting the results of the post-mortem examination for additional insights.
