The Kiambu County government has reported a suspected case of Mpox within its jurisdiction. 

According to a statement released on Saturday by Kiambu Health CEC Dr. Elias Maina, the case is still under laboratory investigation.

Dr. Maina acknowledged the circulating reports on social media about the suspected Mpox case, confirming that the county is indeed dealing with a potential case.
