Comedian Fred Omondi Passes Away After a Tragic Accident

Fred Omondi passed away following an accident on Friday night. He succumbed to his injuries at Mama Lucy Hospital, where he was rushed immediately after the incident.

Fred Omondi was a well-known comedian and a popular events emcee. After leaving Churchill Show, he revealed in a past interview that his older brother Eric had inspired him to pursue a career in comedy.

In mourning Fred, fellow comedian Terence Creative described him as a brother with whom he had shared the stage numerous times and who had been an integral part of his career growth. 

"Today at 6 AM, I received the saddest call ever. 💔🖤 It hurts so much... Fred, I thank God for the time He gave us together, bro. You’ve been pa$rt of my career and growth in the industry. You always treated me as a brother, hosted me when I had nowhere to go, gave me a stage, and paid me. Together, we started club comedy shows," wrote Terence.

Terence also shared that he hosted his first TV show with Fred right after Churchill Show, a milestone he says will forever be embedded in his heart. 

"I will always treasure the moments we shared on stage, from Tribeka, Taj Mall, Hearts, iClub, until we got to Churchill Show and then to hosting our first TV show together, KTN Crazy Comedy. Together, we suffered, learned, inspired, made people laugh, and created great memories," he added.

"I have a lot to say, but all I can say, bro, is that you did well and you shall be remembered and missed. Go well, bro," concluded Terence.
