Four individuals arrested for shooting a staged TikTok prank video in front of Kilifi Police Station.
The video, depicting a staged robbery, was shared on TikTok and deemed to have tarnished the station's image; CCTV footage confirms the suspects' involvement.
Identified as Shabir Ali Suleiman (27), Samson Biwott Omungata (17), Caleb Gunga Kahindi (18), and Omar Juma Omar (19), they were detained following a police statement obtained by Citizen Digital.
Reportedly, one of the suspects initially sought permission from a cleaner to film inside the police premises but was denied.

Despite the refusal, the group proceeded to shoot a staged prank video with the help of three others.
The staged scenario involved one individual feigning intoxication while being robbed by two others on a motorcycle, all while being recorded by another accomplice.
This footage was subsequently shared on TikTok under the account @shabir_shirazy003, accompanied by captions alleging theft in front of the police station.

Authorities assert that the video tarnished the reputation of the station, citing CCTV footage as evidence of the suspects' activities during the filming of the prank video.
