Despite their efforts, the girl succumbed to her injuries before help could arrive.
Responding to the commotion, authorities discovered the lifeless bodies of both the stepfather and his stepdaughter, along with the murder weapon.
A suicide note left behind by the man indicated his intention to "punish" his estranged wife for leaving him, accusing her of infidelity and expressing resentment for perceived disrespect throughout their marriage.
The note, translated loosely, conveyed his feelings of betrayal and his decision to "rest" while leaving his wife to bear the emotional scars of their tumultuous relationship.
The police examination of the scene revealed multiple stab wounds on the girl's body, including her back, abdomen, and left breast, alongside defensive marks on her arm. Similarly, the man had stab wounds on his abdomen.
