This incident, which Cassie referenced in her November 2023 lawsuit, has been vehemently denied by Diddy. However, the disturbing footage tells a different story.

The video shows Diddy, covered only by a white towel, rushing down the corridor. He catches up with Cassie just as she is about to enter an elevator and delivers a blow to the back of her neck.

He then grabs her by the neck and shoves her to the floor, where she is seen trying to shield herself as he continues to kick her.

CNN's footage captures Diddy picking up a purse and another item that had fallen during the assault before returning to kick Cassie again as she lay helpless on the floor.

The video further shows him dragging her by her sweatshirt back down the corridor from where they had come.

This violent episode is believed to have occurred at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, which has since shut down.

CNN verified the location of the footage by comparing it to publicly available images of the hotel.

This incident from March 5, 2016, became a focal point of Cassie’s legal battle against Diddy, in which she accused him of rape and assault.
