Both girls, Sudanese nationals, were in the school's boarding section and engaged in the routine task of fetching water when the incident occurred. 

Reports indicate that tensions rose, leading the suspect to grab the victim by the neck and subsequently strangle her.

The situation escalated further as the victim was forcefully pushed to the ground, resulting in her losing consciousness. 

The victim was swiftly taken to St. Mary's Hospital Lacor, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
