The match was overshadowed by protests from Gor Mahia fans, who criticized the home team's decision to increase ticket prices tenfold.
Gor Mahia took an early lead with midfielder Austin Odhiambo scoring the opening goal, capitalizing on a loose ball in the penalty area.
However, in the second half, Police FC came back strongly, breaching Gor's defense in the 59th minute with a well-coordinated exchange of passes that allowed David Okoth to score.
Tito Okello extended Police's lead to 3-1 in the 74th minute, showcasing skill with a curling shot from outside the penalty area and completing a brace by connecting with Francis Kahata's cross. Despite their loss, Gor Mahia maintains their top position in the league, while Police FC climbs to third place.
