The family of Peter Anthony Morgan, renowned as Peetah, lead vocalist of the beloved reggae band Morgan Heritage, has announced his untimely demise at the age of 46. 

His family shared that Peter breathed his last on Sunday, yet refrained from disclosing the cause of his passing.

In their statement, the family fondly described Peter as a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, and dear brother. 

They requested ongoing prayers and urged for privacy as they navigate this period of mourning and healing.

Peter, affectionately known as Peetah, co-founded Morgan Heritage alongside his siblings in 1994. 

The band achieved significant acclaim, notably securing a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 2016 for their work "Strictly Roots."
