A police officer stationed at Embakasi Police Station was discovered dead in his home after failing to report for duty for two consecutive days.
According to a police report obtained by Citizen Digital, concerns about Police Constable Geoffrey Kinzi’s unusual absence prompted officers from Embakasi station to conduct a welfare check to locate him.
Upon arriving at his residence, situated near Trace Hotel in Embakasi Village, the officers found the house locked from the inside.
Peering through a window, they spotted the officer lying on the bed, unresponsive. Alarmed by the situation, the team gained access to the house by cutting through the window grill, where they found Officer Kinzi's body lying in a supine position.

A closer examination of the body revealed no visible injuries, leading the officers to process and document the scene thoroughly.
Subsequently, they transferred the body to Montezzuma Monalissa Funeral Home, where it will await a post-mortem examination.
In the meantime, police have initiated an investigation to ascertain whether the officer's death was a result of suicide or foul play.
