Detectives in Nakuru are investigating the death of Eileen Cherotich, a 22-year-old business student from the Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology, who reportedly died from injuries after being thrown out of a moving car. 

The incident occurred while Cherotich was returning home from a night out in Nakuru town.

According to reports, Cherotich had a disagreement with her boyfriend during the ride home, which led to the tragic event. 

Three suspects and a vehicle believed to be involved in the incident have been detained at the Nakuru West police station.

In response to her death, college students blocked the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway on Sunday, demanding justice for their slain comrade. 

Meanwhile, Cherotich's body has been moved to the Nakuru County Referral Hospital Mortuary for a post-mortem as investigations continue.
