The group, led by philanthropist Irene Cheptap Oret, was inspired by Chebet's story and initiated an effort to provide her with better educational opportunities.

Chebet, the eldest in her family, faces many challenges, including a one-hour walk to school each way due to the lack of nearby facilities.

Despite these obstacles and ongoing insecurity in the area, she remains committed to her education.

In response, the group and Chebet's parents have decided that she should transfer to a boarding school to focus more on her academics.

Many people have offered various forms of assistance, resonating with the call for support. "I believe in coming together to support her and her family. We can even build a decent shelter for them," said Oret.

Chebet expressed her deep gratitude for the community's support, saying, "I don't know what to say. She's God-sent. May God continue to bless you, Irene Cheptap Oret. Thanks for coming."
