Police have confiscated the suspected murder weapon, and Chepkwony's body has been moved to Kapkatet Mortuary.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic altercation.

Law enforcement in Chepalungu, Bomet County, is currently detaining a 72-year-old man, Francis Bor, on allegations of using a bow and arrow to fatally wound his 23-year-old grandson, Ezra Chepkwony, during a heated dispute.
The unfortunate incident transpired when the inebriated Chepkwony visited his grandfather's residence after consuming alcoholic beverages.
Reportedly, the situation escalated when Chepkwony, under the influence, insulted and provoked Bor during their interaction.
Responding to the verbal altercation, the elderly Bor retrieved his bow and arrow, initially attempting to shoot his grandson.
However, failing to hit Chepkwony on the first try, Bor resorted to directly stabbing his grandson with the arrow. Tragically, Chepkwony succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
Chepalungu Sub-County police boss Phanton Analo confirmed the incident, stating that the authorities have seized the suspected murder weapon.
The body of the deceased has been transferred to Kapkatet Mortuary for proper preservation. The police are now conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding this distressing incident.
