In a hurry? Here’s a quick summary…
A medic, Vincent Bosire, and his girlfriend, Angela Moraa, were found dead holding hands in a Kisii apartment, with investigators suspecting murder-suicide via lethal injection.
Angela’s family clarified she was not married, urging the public to avoid spreading misinformation as investigations continue.
Detectives are piecing together new details about the mysterious deaths of a medic and his girlfriend, whose lifeless bodies were discovered holding hands in bed at a rented apartment in Kisii.
The two, identified as Vincent Nyambunde Bosire and Angela Moraa Ongeri, aged 28, had been reported missing days before the grim discovery.
Investigators suspect that Vincent, an intern at Kisii Training and Referral Hospital (KTRH), may have taken his own life after allegedly killing Angela, a US-based resident visiting family in Kenya.
Angela’s body showed signs of advanced decomposition, suggesting she died earlier than Vincent, whose body appeared fresher.
Before the incident, Vincent had reportedly been unwell and admitted to KTRH for treatment. He was discharged on November 26, but his mobile phone went off shortly thereafter, prompting concern from his family and friends.

A frantic search ensued, culminating in the tragic discovery of the couple’s bodies on November 29. The apartment had been locked from the inside, heightening the mystery surrounding their deaths.
At the scene, detectives recovered used syringes next to the bed, raising suspicions that the pair may have succumbed to a lethal injection.
However, investigations are ongoing to uncover the events leading to their deaths. A relative, Evans Nyambunde, explained that the family became alarmed after Vincent failed to report to work or respond to calls.
This led them to visit his workplace, where they learned he had last been seen on November 27.
As news of the tragedy spreads, Angela’s family has urged the public to avoid spreading misinformation about her personal life.
Contrary to rumors, they clarified that Angela was not married, though she had a child with a man in the US before parting ways.
The haunting image of the couple holding hands in death has left their families and the community in shock, as they await the outcome of the ongoing investigations.
