The Flair by Betty beauty shop, owned by prominent media personality Betty Kyallo, is facing foreclosure due to outstanding rent payments. 

According to a public notice published by Keysian Auctioneers in local newspapers, items within the premises will be auctioned off to settle the rent arrears. 

The auction is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, following legal action initiated by the landlord.

Among the items slated for auction are various salon fixtures and equipment, including dismantled shelves, massage beds, serving racks, mirrors, towel warmers, and dressing tables. 

Additionally, household appliances such as a Binatone microwave, office furniture, barber chairs, CCTV cameras, and electronic devices like a Huawei router and a Mac Coffee maker, are also listed for auction.

The auction will be conducted at Leakey's Storage Limited along Lunga-Lunga road in Nairobi, presenting an opportunity for interested buyers to acquire the listed items. 

The pending auction underscores the financial challenges faced by the Flair by Betty beauty shop and highlights the consequences of defaulting on rental obligations in commercial leases.
